THE TEAM'S VISION

Canton Vaud’s First Structured Women's Gravel Race Team

The opportunity

Gravel is one of the fastest-growing disciplines in Switzerland.
Women's race participation is rising steadily and in 2029, Villars hosts the UCI Gravel World Championships.

The gap we fill

No structured women-only gravel race team exists in Switzerland, Canton Vaud, within an official club framework.
LSN GRVL Women fills that gap and builds visibility, representation, and long-term presence from the ground up.

NOT A PODIUM-ONLY ELITE SQUAD

We create a serious racing environment for elite and ambitious amateur women who want to train, compete, progress, and become more visible in the gravel scene.

Our riders aim to line up at demanding races, from UCI Gravel and Gravel Earth Series events to other major gravel challenges, while staying strongly connected to our roots in Lausanne, and Vaud region.

ROADMAP

ULTIMATE GOAL

To build a competitive and visible Swiss women’s gravel team leading up to the 2029 UCI Gravel World Championships in Villars.

2026 ~ FOUNDATION YEAR

Build the team culture, identity, and race presence.
Set up the team structure within the LSN GRVL club.
Create our first sponsor and partner base.
Line up at our first races as a team.

2027 - 2028 ~ GROWTH & VISIBILITY

Increase our presence and expand our race calendar to key gravel races in Switzerland and abroad.
Strengthen our media presence through race coverage, rider stories, and partner visibility.
Grow our sponsor network and create long-term partnership value.
Strengthen the team structure to support rider progression, logistics, equipment, and communication.

2029 ~ VILLARS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS YEAR

Achieve a visible and competitive presence at the UCI Gravel World Championships in Villars.
Represent women’s gravel racing from Lausanne and the Vaud region on an international stage.
Use 2029 as a milestone, not an endpoint.
Continue building a long-term development project beyond.
